Seclusion / Solitude \ Serenity
Since the advent of the pandemic, Chong has embarked on over 50 mountain hikes in Southwestern British Columbia, Canada, capturing and juxtaposing imagery that articulates the global unfolding during the “new normal” while living alone with COVID-19. As the world resurfaced from the worldwide pandemic, many returned to restricted freedoms amid numerous threatening variations and uncertainties. The series, Seclusion / Solitude \ Serenity aims to unravel what we learned, how we felt, and what our path forward entails.
